Flight of the Amazonian Queen - subtitles way too fast, subtitle speed setting has no effect It might be a good idea to start another thread with a list of compatible games as not all Scumm games work. So far tested with flac sound rips and they do not work.

This will save you problems later when you update to a newer version. I pointed mine to /1000/shared/misc/scumm/saves. 60 is default, i have found that it needs at least half of that.Īlso, change the default saves path to point to a folder outside of the internal folder structure. Also the text speed is much faster than it should be, best to change this to a lower number. Need to go into the main options and set it to both to allow for text in most games. For me Left Click is tap screen Right is Tap & long hold (why currently it's middle button when most mice don't have one) or/& search button as it doesn't need to do.

The default for subtitles is set to voice only, but many games do not have voice. LIke all HTC it has as proper buttons 1) Power & 2) Volume Up/Down rocker on side (bottom when playing game) plus the 4 Google touch base of screen - Home, Menu, back, & search. Setting the graphics to 2xsai filter seems to help with this alot, and also looks awesome to boot. The crusor making the graphics move glitch is present in the gui and all games i have tried so far. Sorry I couldn't figure out the patch.Update on a few of the issues with this port. I generally use extron devices to switch between centers. In fact, Composite, svideo, RGBHV, and RGBI all have different screen centers. My monitor is CGA, and has RGBI inputs, but they just expected the user to choose a input and calibrate the whole thing around it. Devices made to be dedicated CGA monitors often had them for these reasons.

(and other non 320x200 PC games) I believe that some 2000's pro video monitors have external VSIZE, but it's not terribly common before that on 15kHz monitors. As much as I want a perfect VGA image, I also use it for DVDs and consoles. It would necessitate 30-45 min for each change and that would have to occur for every resolution. I am quite used to opening up and repairing CRTs, but this set is troublesome and time-consuming to get to VSIZE. Long answer is that there are no external controls to do so. Reply 688 of 733, by Ant_222īy the way, can you perform aspect-ratio correction using the analog control on your CRT display that stretches or compresses the image in the vertical direction? The current version of SDL is VERY stale, would be good to know if dosbox is transitioning to SDL2 at all before touching SDL, just to make sure.Īs I understand the lib it only scales surface?/overlay output and falls back to normal opengl if opengl output is detected, I dont know how easy it is to replace SDL libs in other OSes than linux, have to try this one out and see if its still working.

I can help with the generic algorithm of aspect-ratio approximation because some people don't make it right the fist time.Īlso there was/is someone who implemented hq2x for SDL1, SDL sources are way over my head, but would it be possible to implement this in SDL itself and leave dosbox alone ? I suggest that you contact the maintainer of an OS X build with a proposal to implement one of the listed solutions.

Are there any builds for OSX that has this patch included? It’s awesome on Windows.
